Motives matter in leadership, too

From a study reported in The Economist comes evidence that one's motivation is important when it comes to the corruptibility of leadership.  Leaders who think they deserve to be in roles of power are more susceptible to corruption and influence.  It's the sense of entitlement that inflects their leadership one way or another.

Maybe we are better off with leaders who are at least somewhat reluctantly in their roles.
