What Higher Ed Looks Like in the U.S.

That there is no one-size-fits-all path to (or through) college in the United States is clear from this infographic by the Gates Foundation  – and we need to adjust our thinking accordingly.Higher education students in the U.S. attend a variety of schools (40% are in 2-year colleges), and do so in a variety of ways. The higher ed landscape is nowhere near as homogeneously focused on the Ivies as some anxious parents believe.
