Ways to Bridge the Chasm

This post from Fast Company points to communications research showing that one never really argues in such a ways as to "convince" the other party. Instead, one melds one's views to something mutual as a way to reach common ground. "Winning" the argument, if you can call it that, only occurs at that point. A lesson for our polarized times.
