Trouble Ahead?

This chart from the Western Interstate Commission on Higher Education (WICHE), shared by our friend Tim Viands at Grand River Academy, is absolutely terrifying in its implications. We are working to understand the assumptions behind the forecast--it does seem to be based on something other than raw demographics alone--but even if it is close to accurate it foreshadows a big problem.
