The Innovation Push

How do you stay successful during tough times?  How do you keep bringing in the money?  Over and over there are three ideas we keep seeing suggested by gurus in the field of leadership and marketing:

1.  Figure out what you do best and do it the very best possible.  Don't waver.  Keep at it.
2.  Figure out what you can do that is unique, unusual, out of the box, cutting edge.  Make the changes necessary to make this part of who you are and what you do.
3.  Figure out how to reach people to tell them about numbers one and two.

Don't do what i have seen recently in retail sales - inundate your customer with flashy offers to buy more at a better price point when what you are selling is not new, looks like everyone else and is poorly made. Why would you think that would make people come back for more?

Point for schools here is to be sure that what you offer is the finest possible product even if it costs more than a competitor.  If it follows numbers one and two above, it will be worth it.  Just be sure to get the word out.
