Smart Advice for People in Charge

One of the first management gurus I read (and met) was Tom Peters, just at the moment when his (with Bob Waterman) In Search of Excellence was becoming a phenomenon. Tom's wisdom has struck me as remarkably on-target and actionable ever since those early 1980's days. His latest, a reworking of a 2013 piece (another thing I like about him--he is always, always reworking his stuff), "Getting Things Done (THAT MATTER) Against the Odds and in the Inky-black Shadow Cast by the Guardians of the Status Quo," should be required reading and doing for anyone trying to lead anything.
