School Leadership at the Front Lines: Gaza

At the Philadelphia airport this evening flying to Tel Aviv with Peter Davidson for several days of work with private school leaders in Gaza.  While Gaza has been relatively calm amid the chaos of Cairo, there is always the risk of contagion throughout the Arab world (as is happening in Jordan and Yemen). Gaza has its own issues right now, with the incendiary release of papers this past week apparently showing that the Palestinian Authority government in the West Bank made major concessions to Israel in past negotiations (see this on the BBC web site for reaction by Gazans).

Peter and I are meeting with a different (from our previous work in the West Bank) group of schools and leaders.  Keep checking this space for daily updates from Gaza.
