Scariest Election Item Yet

A Washington Post report of a World Values Survey poll showing that 44% of non-college educated Americans prefer a dictator is absolutely shocking. More precisely:

"... almost half — 44 percent — of U.S. non-college graduates approved of having a strong leader unchecked by elections and Congress."

Let's be clear: A "strong leader unchecked by elections and Congress" equals a dictator. It is terrifying how many Americans are willing to toss aside democracy and due process in the name of security and authority. All the more reason why we need higher rates of university-level education.
