Not All Trustees Govern Alike

An interesting item in the Chronicle of Higher Education points out the promises and perils of alumni board members, as well as those from business and industry.  As always, the issue is with perspective--the tendency of board members from a constituent group to rather uniformly take a certain view of issues in subsequent board deliberations.  It's work a quick read and discussion at a future governance committee meeting.
