More Proof of the Coming Apocalypse

Between the Scottish independence vote tomorrow, ISIS beheadings, and the slow-motion train wreck that is Ukraine, one would think there's enough weird and bad news to go around. Then comes this story in The Atlantic, about scarily low rates of childhood immunization in West Los Angeles schools; e.g., those serving families "in the industry." The Atlantic basically reprints a story from the Hollywood Reporter (that version includes an interactive map), and many of the reported immunization rates are startlingly low.What Scotland, ISIS and Ukraine have in common is regression; that is, a willful reversion to a more primitive, tribal state. And West LA immunizations rates paradoxically share the same psychological and sociological DNA. So far, Scotland and West LA are less violent, but in long run I suspect no less dangerous.
