More Evidence for a Global Higher Ed Shift

New Executive MBA (EMBA) rankings from the Financial Times are revealing of a shift in higher education that we have been watching, talking and writing about for some time. Of the top 10 EMBA programs on the chart below, none are physically in the United States (although four are partnerships with US brick-and-mortar universities). While it is important to remember that these are EMBA and not regular MBA programs, the fact that so many at the top are elsewhere parallels and leads a more general trend in the field toward "the rise of the rest."ftoct2016We are confident that more and more students--not just those seeking EMBA's--will be choosing universities outside the United States. Ivy-focused international and independent schools should take note.
