Experimenting with the Future

London042009 London - Here to work with a client organization amid much doom and gloom in the morning papers about the Chancellor's budget proposal yesterday. Lots of angst about the possible 50% top tax bracket and the large and increasing level of public debt.

All of this is igniting a new round of debate about tax policy and entrepreneurial behavior.  Different countries are going to be placing different bets on their futures.  Will creativity and capital flee for more tax-friendly places, like in the 1960's, or will there be so few places to hide that people stay in place?  It's going to be an interesting experiment here and elsewhere.
